On this first Sunday of Advent 2023, Rev. Tom connects many different things going on in the life of the church on this important day. First, we are introduced to the sermon series for the month, "Expect Angels," and taught some about what angels are and what angels are not. Then, we look at the call for the church to be in communion with one another and with God. And, the promises through the "I Promise" Commitment Card help draw us closer to both. How are you doing at being connected to God and God's people? And, how in this season do you need to push to be a little more connected this month?
