"Preview of the New Ark”

The story of Noah and the ark is more than a familiar story about a flood—it points us toward Jesus. In Week 6 of Origin Story, we discover how the ark provides a picture of God’s judgment, mercy, salvation, and ultimately the hope we have in Christ. Just as God provided one ark to carry Noah and his family through the flood, Jesus offers us a way from separation and death into forgiveness and life with God. Noah also teaches us something powerful about trust: the ark had no wheel, rudder, or sail. Noah wasn’t the captain—God was. Following God meant surrendering the destination and trusting Him through the storm. What might change in our lives if we stopped trying to steer everything ourselves and trusted God enough to lead us?
