A certain number of continuing education hours is required by IA law. This training often happens outside of normal work hours. We pay you for required annual trainings & required staff meetings. Are you willing to meet this requirement? *
As a Christian School, we have the opportunity to teach Bible stories, songs, prayers, and Christian values at age-appropriate levels to our students. You don't need a great depth of prior knowledge, we will provide all resources needed. Are you willing to do this? *
We are blessed with a great amount of outdoor learning space at Grand View for recess, nature, science activities, gardening, and nature hikes. We may go outside in all weather & all year round. Do you have any allergies, limitations in heat & cold, or other health concerns that would limit your abilities to be outdoors? *
Job duties will include active work with children, such as moving up and down off the floor throughout the day, kneeling, sitting on the floor and low chairs, reaching, lifting/carrying children, and other active motor skills. Classroom upkeep may include cleaning, changing diapers, meal preparation, dishes, cleaning up after sick children, etc. A pre-employment physical is required before new staff are permitted to work in our classrooms. We are a non-smoking environment. There is no smoking of any substance allowed in the building or on the grounds of Grand View. Children may not be exposed to any type of second hand smoke including on the clothing of staff. Do you have any questions? *

Our operating hours are 7am – 5:30pm. We may be open every day (including during inclement weather conditions) except for New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Do you have limitations for working on any other day? *
