What is it?

Vacation Bible School is a fun, interactive week filled with nightly Bible stories, music, games, projects, and spending time building relationships with others.

Where are you located?

Grand View Methodist Church is located on the west end of Dubuque by the soccer complex and Steve’s Ace Hardware. Our address is 3342 John Wesley Dr., Dubuque, IA 52002.

When is it?

Galaxy VBS will be held June 22-25 from 5:30pm - 8:00pm. Dinner is provided every night at 5:30pm.

Why should my child attend?

We believe that all children (and all adults) need to hear the good news and promises of Jesus Christ. Vacation Bible School mixes fun activities, events, and music with teachings from Jesus to help us remember basic lessons of the faith.

Who can attend?

We’d like to invite all children as young as age 4 and up through the completion of 5th grade to join us for Galaxy Vacation Bible School. Leaders for Galaxy VBS are all background checked and passionate church members!

What should I do next?

After VBS Events & Fun

Sunday Morning Worship

We always encourage our Vacation Bible School kids to join us on the Sunday after VBS week for worship with the full church body. We worship at 8, 9:30, or 10:45am every Sunday. On June 28 we’ll celebrate Vacation Bible School during our 10:45am worship celebration.

After VBS Pool Party

The tradition continues! We are excited to invite all of those who participate in Vacation Bible School, and all other congregation members, to join us for a night out at the East Dubuque Dunleith Pool. From 5:30-7:30pm, Grand View has rented out the full pool for a simple night of fun & connection. Light, summer snacks will be provided.
