What does it mean to say, “I am baptized”? In Week 7 of Origin Story, we explore how baptism changes more than our circumstances—it changes our identity. Just as Noah and his family passed through the waters of the flood into a new beginning, baptism marks our entrance into a new life as citizens of God's Kingdom. Through the water and the work of the Holy Spirit, we are welcomed into God's family, forgiven, and given a lasting identity in Christ. But baptism isn't simply something that happened to us once. It's a promise and a calling we can remember and live out every day. Whatever challenges we face, we can confidently declare, “I am baptized. I belong to God.” And that changes everything.
