Who Sits at Your Table?

In Week 5 of At the Table, we wrestle with an important question: who are we giving a seat at our table? Drawing from Luke 14 and the words of Jesus, this message reminds us that who we welcome into our homes, hearts, minds, and habits matters deeply. While our culture is quick to label other people as enemies, Jesus points us in a different direction—calling us to love others while staying alert to the real enemy: the power of evil that seeks to divide us from God and one another. This sermon challenges us to make room for Christ in every part of life and to ask God to prepare our table with grace, wisdom, courage, and peace instead of fear, temptation, and division.
