Intimacy with God

In Week 3 of Discipled for Life, we turn to the Gospel of John, chapter 15, and Jesus’ invitation to “abide” in Him. Jesus teaches that true discipleship flows from intimacy with God—not just knowing about Him, but remaining connected to Him like branches to a vine. This message explores the barriers that keep us distant from God, including superficial faith, misplaced priorities, information without application, and unconfessed sin. As we learn to know God, communicate with Him, worship Him, and serve alongside Him, we begin to experience the kind of relationship that transforms our hearts and produces lasting fruit.
